Denise Darwin – Trainer Profile

Denise is the founder of the company, and started as a sole trader in 1996.

She is a fully trained and experienced trainer who has been training professionally since 1989. Experienced in training groups of differing sizes and abilities across a wide ranging subject area, all her training is delivered using her own and her company’s well researched and personally developed and designed training courses. Her experience and enthusiasm ensure that all training is enjoyable, rewarding and beneficial to all delegates,

Denise says “All training should leave the attendees stimulated and enthused, and capable of retaining the knowledge that the course has provided and applying and implementing this within their workplace.”

Denise believes in participative training and all delegates are involved within the training day, using a mixture of up to the minute methods.

She has become a specialist in the field of delivery of Learning & Development awards, especially in Assessment & Verification. Having had several years experience as an External Verifier for SQA in Learning & Development, she brings a wealth of sound expertise and knowledge to the delivery of these awards.

Jim Reynolds - Profile

Jim joined the company in 2001 and brought much expertise of working in a variety of production industries including engineering and agriculture.

Trainees and delegates working at the hard edge of their disciplines have welcomed his down-to-earth and practical attitudes to both training and award delivery.

His record of assessor achievements in the Oil & Gas sector over the last 7 years is impressive and he is constantly receiving e-mails saying how much he has helped candidates to achieve their qualifications.

Jim says “Theoretical training & assessment is fine, but the bulk of our candidates are working in a rapidly changing and challenging environment which demands the highest levels of competence and so need a more flexible and common sense approach to their delivery.”
